چکیده
Background: Saline is still the most widely used storage and rinsing solution for vessel grafts during cardiac surgery despite knowing evidence of its negative influence on human endothelial cell function. Aim this study was to assess effect DuraGraft©, an intraoperative graft treatment solution, saphenous vein segments further elaborate vasoprotective rat aortic in comparison saline. Methods: Human Saphenous (HSV) from patients undergoing aortocoronary bypass (n = 15), were randomized DuraGraft© 15) or saline before storage. Each segment divided into two subsegmental parts evaluation. These as well stored underwent assessment vascular function a multichamber isometric myograph system Krebs-Henseleit (KHS), physiologic organ buffer solution. Results: Potassium-Chloride (KCL)-induced contraction depicted tendency towards increase when treated with compared preservation HSV (23.02 ± 14.77 vs 14.44 9.13 mN, p 0.0571). Vein preserved showed significant improvement endothelium-dependent vasorelaxation response cumulative concentrations bradykinin (p < 0.05). Rat significantly impaired vasoconstriction (3.59 4.20, 0.0001) KHS 0.0001). Conclusions: demonstrated favorable relaxation indicating Clinical Trial Registration Number: NCT04614077.

P-185: Expression and Function of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Fallopian Tuben Carrying Ectopic Pregnancy
Background: Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is an angiogenic growth factor that is produced by different tissues, including the endometrium and ovary. VEGF is involved in many processes related to reproductive physiology, including angiogenesis, which is essential for implantation and placentation. It has been suggested that VEGF may be the angiogenic factor responsible for the implan...

متن کاملRhoA inactivation enhances endothelial barrier function.
The modulation of endothelial barrier function is thought to be a function of contractile tension mediated by the cell cytoskeleton, which consists of actomyosin stress fibers (SF) linked to focal adhesions (FA). We tested this hypothesis by dissociating SF/FA with Clostridium botulinum exoenzyme C3 transferase (C3), an inhibitor of the small GTP-binding protein RhoA. Bovine pulmonary artery en...
متن کاملDiabetes enhances vulnerability to particulate air pollution-associated impairment in vascular reactivity and endothelial function.
BACKGROUND Epidemiological studies suggest that people with diabetes are vulnerable to cardiovascular health effects associated with exposure to particle air pollution. Endothelial and vascular function is impaired in diabetes and may be related to increased cardiovascular risk. We examined whether endothelium-dependent and -independent vascular reactivity was associated with particle exposure ...
متن کاملEnhanced Vascular Graft Thromboresistance with Endothelial Progenitor Cells Overexpressing Thrombomodulin
Introduction Endothelial cell (EC) sodding of the luminal surface of small diameter synthetic vascular grafts is acknowledged to improve graft patency. However, ECs are known to down regulate their expression of key anti-thrombotic and antiinflammatory molecules immediately after implantation [1]. This study investigated the potential of augmenting EC expression of thrombomodulin (TM), a glycop...
